Taxi Fleet & Licencing Coordinator

Location: Burscough, Ormskirk

Salary: £Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Full Time Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm

Direct Accident was formed in 1996 to assist clients who had been involved in road traffic accidents caused by another party. In that time, we have helped thousands of clients by taking away the worry and inconvenience that inevitably result from an accident caused by somebody else.

We are currently recruiting for a Taxi Fleet & Licensing Coordinator who will be responsible for the maintenance and management of our growing replacement taxi fleet. An important part of this role is to build good strong professional working relationships with different Local Authorities / Councils throughout the UK.

We are looking for someone who is positive, energetic and enthusiastic, a problem solver and someone who can work as part of a tight team and using their own initiative.  You will be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to your stake holders and ensure that everyone has a positive experience by delivering an outstanding service.

Responsibilities to include:

  • The daily monitoring and actioning of all new taxi hire enquires.
  • Arranging and coordinating the delivery of PCO vehicles.
  • Overall accountability for the daily management of the Burscough Taxi administration team whose key responsibilities include.
  • Liaising with Local Authorities across the UK and building strong, professional relationships to obtain Council Licences for taxi vehicles.
  • Organising and arranging MOTs on taxi vehicles
  • Updating CRM with MOT, PCO & Licencing details.
  • Arranging for drivers to take vehicles for PCO & Licence tests
  • Uploading documents to Fuse Metrix (i.e. V5’s, Licences & MOT’s
  • Liaising with key work sources and providing as and when required daily/weekly and monthly MI reports.
  • Ad hoc duties
  • Organising/liaising with supplier to have cameras fitted to taxi vehicles.

About You:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work using ones own initiative and as part of a team
