Job Title:             Social Media & Events Coordinator

 

CAMS is the UK’s leading cycling accident management company. We’ve helped countless cyclists get back on two wheels following non-fault accidents. Our tailored service ensures cyclists’ needs are met promptly, covering many costs associated with non-fault collisions upfront—a unique offering in the cycling industry.

 

Founded by a passionate cyclist, CAMS’ team shares this enthusiasm, with all our Business Development Managers coming from the industry or professional circuits. As part of Anexo Group PLC, we manage the entire claims process for cyclists, providing comprehensive support from start to finish.

 

Your role

 

CAMS is seeking a passionate and energetic Social Media & Events Coordinator to support the growth of our brand within the cycling community. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver high-impact social media campaigns, coordinate events, and build relationships within cycling communities. The role requires creativity, organisation, and hands-on execution, including content creation, social media management, and event support.

This is a performance-driven role with industry-leading commission, bonus, and benefits schemes.

 

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Community Engagement

  • Manage and grow CAMS’ social media presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Develop engaging content (posts, reels, videos, graphics) that resonates with cyclists.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cycling clubs, influencers, and community groups.
  • Monitor social media trends, platform algorithms, and engagement metrics to optimise
  • Support paid campaigns and influencer collaborations to drive app sign-ups and brand

Content Creation & Brand Support

  • Produce high-quality visual and written content in line with the CAMS brand.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  • Create storytelling content that highlights cycling safety, events, and CAMS initiatives.
  • Assist with photography and video production for campaigns and events.

Events Coordination

  • Assist in planning and delivering cycling events, launches, activations, and community
  • Coordinate logistics, invitations, registrations, and on-the-day event support.
  • Represent CAMS at events and liaise with partners, sponsors, and cycling organisations.
  • Help measure and report event performance and engagement metrics.
  • Digital & Design Support
  • Use tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent to create campaign visuals.
  • Support marketing campaigns with graphics, digital assets, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with external designers or production teams as needed.

 

Requirements

Experience

  • Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or events coordination.
  • Experience creating content for social platforms and managing community engagement.
  • Familiarity with design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).

 

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content planning, and analytics.
  • Copywriting and storytelling skills tailored to community audiences.
  • Ability to analyse engagement data and optimise campaigns.
  • Experience coordinating events, sponsorships, or community initiatives.
  • Basic video editing or content production knowledge is a plus.

Personal Attributes

  • A passionate cyclist or fitness enthusiast with knowledge of cycling culture.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills.
  • Creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in sports, lifestyle, or community marketing.
  • Experience working with influencers, cycling clubs, or sponsorship partnerships.
