Direct Accident was formed in 1996 to assist clients who had been involved in road traffic accidents caused by another party. In that time, we have helped thousands of clients by taking away the worry and inconvenience that inevitably result from an accident caused by somebody else.
We are currently recruiting for a Legal Administrator to join team in Burscough. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.
You will be responsible for providing complete and accurate administrative support to the Head of Legal and ensuring the administrative effectiveness of the business.
We are looking for someone who is positive, energetic and enthusiastic, a problem solver and someone who can work as part of a tight team and using their own initiative. You will be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to your stake holders and ensure that everyone has a positive experience by delivering an outstanding service.

Responsibilities to include:
- Answer incoming telephone calls from clients, garages and solicitors. To answer overflow calls from other departments.
- Make outgoing calls to clients regarding their attendance at court hearings
- Help maintain our court hearings diary on outlook
- Co- ordinate the receipt and distribution of trial bundles to court team.
- Answer solicitors queries by telephone and email.
- Instruct document/sign up agents where necessary to ensure clients have completed legal documents to meet deadlines.
- Co- ordinate the instruction of Witness Statement Agents to obtain statements in relation to liability in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with due dates.
- Upload signed documents to Fusemetrix and/or Proclaim.
- Maintain and update company databases and diaries.
- Help maintain filing and archiving
- Undertake any other reasonable task to ensure the efficient operation of the business
